Different people have different ways to deal with stress. Others eat their comfort food, others clean the home, play their Wii or PS3 while others smoke. Stress is already something to be concerned about and much more if we add smoking to our habits.
Smokers say that non-smokers will never understand them why they smoke. But the main problem with smoking it the effects it can give to the smoker and worse, to those second-hand smokers or people who inhale the smoke from your cigarettes.
Quitting smoking is really tough that’s why different methods were tried and tested just to make sure there is a way to get out of smoking. However, the most effective way to get rid of smoking or at least stop the habit is to be determined to quit. It is you who can control yourself. Even though all your friends would tease you when you quit, if you have already found the reason, you would still control temptation and choose to abstain from the stick.
You lose about seven minutes of your life for every stick you consume. Don’t think your life is long enough just to get affected by that seven minutes. A stick or two can lead you to addiction if you get out of control. Value your life and quit smoking while you can still control it.

We have five senses but the most important sense we have is our sense of sight. There is nothing we can do that does not require the use of our eyes. Especially at work, we use our eyes to see what we do and to make sure we’re still on the right track. Keep in mind that if we do not care for our eyes, our work and productivity will be affected.
There are different ways to maintain your good eyesight, ways to prevent straining our eyes especially when we work.
Do not overuse your eyes; even machines need some time off. When you always work in front of the computer, you may often experience pain in the eyes. So when you feel your eyes are already tired, relax for a minute and try to focus on distant objects, preferably on objects with relaxing colors like green. You can also use eyeglasses to protect your eyes while you work and sunglasses to protect them from too much brightness of the sun.
Avoid reading when the lights are dim. Make sure there is proper lighting in your room when you do your paper works. Also, avoid reading while lying down.
Eat foods that are rich in Vitamin A. This vitamin maintains good eyesight, so keep yourself healthy with a lot of A’s.

The main problem with being very busy with work is that it eats all your strength that you make a routine out of your life. When you wake up in the morning, you rush to work and spend the whole day in the office then you just want to rest at the end of the day. Aside from the stress the long day of work can give you, it also makes you lazy because all your energy is used up while nothing is left for exercise. Exercise keeps our body healthy because it gives us endurance.
So even though you are always tired, you should still make sure you do proper exercise to keep your body fit. If you can’t engage in activities after work, sleep early then try to wake up early to have enough time to walk to work or do some morning exercise. But if you are having a hard time waking up in the morning, you may opt to go to gym after work or play badminton or tennis after office hours. You can also spend an hour exercising during weekends. Do it with your family so that everyone gets engaged in the activity while all of you stay fit.
A life made like a routine of office-home-office can make you look older. Have some time off and consider your health because without it, you cannot perform all your responsibilities properly. It would even be better to just add exercise to your routine!

At the end of the day, we may have all our energy used up so we need to recharge to have enough strength for our activities the next day. However, not all of us are lucky enough to have the required at least eight hours of sleep. So what happens if a person does not get these eight hours?
The number of hours required for a person to regain his energy varies from one person to another. Others are used to having just three hours of sleep while others are contented with six. What is important is that you get your lost energy back for you to use the next day. So what happens if you don’t get enough sleep? Here are the top three reasons why you should get enough sleep.
1. When you sleep, you have time to rest your brain thus helps the brain to perform memory consolidation.
2. Lack of sleep can lead to errors and accidents like falling asleep while driving among many others.

We all know that water is one of the basic needs of man. We are all like plants that need water everyday to look beautiful and grow healthy. Water can serve as our everyday drink because it is neutral and fosters different health benefits.
We need to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday to stay healthy. This does not just help us replenish lost minerals when we sweat and urinate, but it can also cleanse our body and make us look well. Sufficient water intake also helps us get rid of pimples because it cleanses our body. Without it our body is more prone to different types of illnesses. Our energy also depends on water. Since our bodies are made of about 75% water, a drop in this water level makes us unfit to perform our tasks and engage in activities.
We can’t live without water; it is very important to us because it has a big role in giving us a good health. It flushes out unwanted substances and excess salts we have in our bodies. This is the reason why those who have urinary tract infection often drink lots of water.
Include drinking water as one of your habits. Just don’t drown yourself too much because excess water can dilute the minerals inside our bodies which is also undesirable.
